Ordered 3 bottles of bourbon as gifts because you can’t get bourbon in Ontario. One bottle arrived leaking and 1/8 empty. I contacted Whiskey drop but “crickets”. No response. I most likely won’t order again or recommend their services

My experience with The Whisky Drop has been excellent. I stumbled across it on my own and was impressed with the customization aspect. I selected 3 months, so I could forget about it and then remember that I have a random bottle coming in a few weeks and then get excited again. The customer service is always excellent.
Maybe every 5th or 6th bottle received the shipping is free and you get a slightly higher priced bottle…
The staff at the store are stellar! Both Graham and Racheal are very knowledgeable and about the whisky they sell. They have a great whisky wall and some cool clubs a person can sign up for too.
Bourbon is not available at LCBO in Ontario currently . We are pleased with the service provided and will order again!
In a previous order I purchased Rupert’s cream whisky. I opened it a week after it arrived and found it had curdled. I emailed the store about the problem and Nate quickly, apologized and advised the seal must of failed and they would send another bottle with my next order. Unfortunately it had also curdled so they refunded me the cost. I believe since I live in Ontario and they ship from Alberta so the long distance it traveled would have caused it to turn. They certainly go the extra mile to satisfy their customers.

I love the bourbon box subscription! The bourbons I have received have been terrific.
I have been subscribed to the Bourbon Box for around 8 months and have received five bottles to date. I have not been disappointed a single time, but haven’t tried the latest bottle, saving for over the holidays!
However, I was in Edmonton a few weeks ago and took the opportunity to visit the store.
Great little family run store, everyone was super friendly and inviting, tried a couple of really nice bourbons but refrained from buying, only because I had four bottles being delivered. I did end up ordering one during the free shipping event, the other was out of stock.
Anyway, if you are in Edmonton and are looking for a nice bottle of Whiskey, I highly recommend stopping by, if you don’t know what you want, Nate will lead you in the right direction.

Depending on where you are in Canada, I'm in Ontario, Whisky Drop has a lot of unique options that may not be in your provincial stores. I absolutely love the selection, everything is top notch at great prices. It always comes perfectly packaged and I've never had anything but a A+ experience with them at every level.
