It is an elegant and restrained wine of exceptional quality, made from grapes growing in our oldest vineyards. 100% Grenache, it is a full-bodied, aromatic, soft and balanced vintage wine. It is the perfect choice to enjoy in especial occasions.
At the sight this wine offers us an intense cherry red colour, well covered, with garnet edges and violet tones. The nose is very frank, with intense aromas of ripe and spicy fruits, roasted on a balsamic background. The palate is structured, tasty and powerful with fine tannins, soft and balanced, which contribute to lengthening its life to end with a long and elegant finish in the mouth. Serving temperature is best at 16-18º C.
To accompany red meats, stews, cured cheeses and all kinds of game meat.
In the Cellar
The pre fermentative and post fermentative maceration is carried out for 30-35 days, with daily pumping over, controlling the temperature up to a maximum of 28ºC. After malolactic fermentation in the barrel, it is left to rest for two months (controlled temperature). Then the transfer is made to the tank for stabilization and then aged in barrels, where is will remain a minimum of 12 months (temperature controlled). Finally, it is aged in the bottle where it is finely tuned for a minimum of 18 months.
