Breckenridge Distillery has taken their award-winning bourbon and finished it in rare PX finish barrels, drawing out the rich flavours of these rare sherry barrels. An extensive search for these unique barrels took the Distillery to Andalusia province of Spain. Each barrel was exclusively selected to craft this new spirit. The distillery acquired a selection of retired PX barrels from a solera hundreds of years old and filled them with Breckenridge's rich, spicy Bourbon Whiskey.
Nose: Raisins and spun sugar burst out and are nearly cloying, balanced by worn leather
Palate: A fruity kick similar to punch starts off here, deepening into fruit leather and baking spices. The back palate comes in with creaminess and some warmth.
Finish: Short finish with creaminess lingering slightly.
