William Cadenhead Ltd. was formed in 1842 in Aberdeen, and is Scotland's oldest independent bottler. The Original Series is designed to showcase whiskies from a variety of Scottish distilleries. Cadenhead products are never artificially coloured or chill-filtered.
Hailing from an undisclosed Orkney distillery, this 6 year old bottling has been matured in 100% Bourbon casks.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Creamy, hay, custard creams and budding gorse.
Palate: Heather honey, dry embers, golden syrup and nougat.
Finish: Pineapple juice, stroopwafels, rock salt and oatcakes.
