There is not a great deal of information on the make-up of this 25 year old blend - other than 100% of the source spirits came from the Loch Lomond Distillery and that the youngest spirit in the blend is 25 years old. Cadenhead will tell you that it is a deliciously well-rounded dram which will appeal to a many. What the folks at Whisky Drop will tell you is that it is absolutely stellar.
Fully matured in refill sherry butts.
Nose: Walnuts, wooden waxed benches, caramel.
Palate: Madeira cake, chocolate raisins, fudge and toffee.
Finish: Medium length with lingering wisps of chocolate.
