Cadenhead's Tomintoul 14 Year Old is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Speyside region of Scotland. This whisky has been matured in American bourbon barrels and sherry hogsheads for 14 years. The whisky has a golden hue, with aromas of apricot, citrus, honey and biscuit. On the palate it has flavours of cocoa, peanut brittle, cherries, oak and spice. The finish is of medium length and smooth with notes of dried fruits and creamy vanilla. This is an excellent whisky that is well rounded and well balanced.
Nose: Light and creamy with slated popcorn, faint rhubard, creme buree and icing sugar
Palate: Apple sauce, gooseberry jam with notes of fennel & green bananas. Buttered gingerbread
Finish: Warming ginger spice and long creamy buttery notes
