Càrn Mòr is an independent bottler solely owned and operated by one of Scotland’s oldest and most prominent whisky families, the Morrisons.
Inchgower is one of those Speyside distilleries you don’t see on every shelf, yet its whisky plays a vital role in some of Scotland’s biggest blends.
Sitting near the town of Buckie on the Moray coast, it was founded in 1825 and has quietly produced a light, elegant spirit ever since.
The Càrn Mòr Strictly Limited Inchgower 5 was distilled in 2016 and spent 5 years in a refill bourbon barrel before being bottled without added colour or chill filtration at an approachable 47.5% ABV.
Nose: Vanilla cake, fresh stone fruits, and wet forest leaves.
Palate: Sweet, home-baked digestive biscuits. On the mid-palate, vanilla and savoury spices.
Finish: Lingering notes of heather honey and caramel.
