The Carn Mor Strictly Limited Teaninich 11 year - Release 2 is a Highlands single malt from the Teaninich distillery. This expression was bottled for the Strictly Limited series by the independent bottler Carn Mor (Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers). This particular Teaninich was distilled in 2010 and matured in STR casks. A small number of casks were married together and bottled in the summer of 2021. As with all Strictly Limited offerings this whisky is non-chill filtered and with no added colour.
Nose: A delicate nose that combines dark fruit and burnt vanilla with hints of chocolate.
Palate: Christmas in a cup - cloves, cinnamon and brown sugar blending with treacle and cherries. The perfect "sitting by the fire on a cold winter's night" dram.
Finish: Long, tannic and just a hint of those Christmas spices at the end.
