Dràm Mòr Group Ltd., a single cask whisky bottler, originates from the once highly influential town of Dumbarton. Dràm Mòr is the brainchild of husband and wife team Viktorija and Kenny Macdonald. The business started as a training and whisky events business as well as working to open new markets around the world for Independent Scotch whisky producers.
Dalmunach was established in 2014 by Pernod Ricard’s Chivas Brothers. Occupying the site of the old Imperial Distillery, Dalmunach is capable of producing an impressive 10 million litres per annum. This 5-year-old single malt was matured in a 1st fill bourbon barrel.
Nose: Syrup sponge and custard all day long.
Palate: Steam pudding remains but this time the syrup sponge has become a warm ginger pudding with a drizzle of sweet creme anglaise. Almond and vanilla.
Finish: A long finish of warming mixed spices and vanilla blend into charred oak notes.
