A single malt from Deanston Distillery, distilled in 2012 and aged in 1st Fill Malvasia Madeira Cask for 9 years before bottling by Dram Mor. Total Outturn: 274 bottles.
Nose: Buttered baked goods with that typical Highlands floral-grassy, heathery touch
Palate: Signature Deanston waxy, creamy mouthfeel. Madeira cask predominant with treacle, liquorice and toffee coming to the forefront.
Finish: Long and oily but with some astringency at the end. Notes of liquorice and light honey sweetness.
