Fable Whisky is an independent bottler of single cask whiskies. Far from ordinary, they are founded on the old art of storytelling, combined with the modern arts of animation and illustration. They bring legendary myths and tales from Scotland to life through these visual arts, while showcasing the best single malts which they hand select to ensure distinctive tastes and intriguing characters - just like the stories of old. All of Fable’s whiskies are bottled in their purest form: cask strength, natural colour, and without chill filtration.
Coastal distilleries are fascinating as they often deliver a unique briney and nutty quality. Inchgower is no different. There are many elements in production which contribute to this nutty and spicy style of single malt. Perhaps its Eastern Highland location in Buckie, close to the mouth of the River Spey, being the most influential. Historically linked to the Bells blend, Inchgower offers an interesting range of flavour. Beginning with tropical fruits of melon and banana, we then move into orchard fruits and vanilla before finishing with toasted almond notes.
