Master Distiller, Billy Walker, has worked tirelessly on perfecting GlenAllachie 15 year old single malt scotch since day one, evaluating casks, specifically PX and Oloroso puncheons and hogsheads to deliver complete depth and finish.
Without question, there is a great deal of pride in the presentation of this crown jewel.
Nose: Rhubarb, cranberry and strawberries. Dried tobacco, hoisin sauce, bubble gum and a touch of a metallic characteristic. Water reveals chocolate and pastry dough.
Palate: Big sherry arrival with raisins, prunes and maple syrup. Winter spices and wood. Dark chocolate and coffee.
Finish: Coffee, Turkish delight and just a hint of flaky sea salt.
