Hornito's Reposado is aged in huge, 10,000 gallon oak vats for two months. It is the colour of pale straw - almost a light blonde. What's notable about the Reposado is because it rests in those huge oak vats there is less contact with the wood than other tequilas that rest in small barrels. This means that there is less of a "woodsy" taste and a more agave forward flavour.
Nose: Fine agave, herbal and green apple notes.
Palate: Balanced Agave with apple and herbal notes, Slightly woody.
Finish: Medium to full-bodied spirit with warm, slightly astringent finish.
