Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey is renown for its soft and mild whisky. But for those who also like a hint of smoke in their whiskey - there is now the the Kilbeggan Black which offers a more flavourful taste without sacrificing softness. Matured in ex-bourbon casks and double-distilled for a rich yet distinct character, the peat is introduced for more depth - adding subtle yet delicate smoky finish.
Nose: Subtle sweetness - apples and pears followed by stone fruit and creamy caramel with an ever so slight hint of peat.
Palate: Mellow with notes of green fruits and cereal. Developing into hints of peat smoke.
Finish: Lingering with subtle peat smoke and spices
