Lagavulin Offerman Edition is named for actor and brand pitchman, Nick Offerman who collaborated with Lagavulin distillery manager Colin Gordon to select this expression. Offerman himself describes this as "smokey giggle-juice" and also one of "life's simple pleasures".
LIMIT OF ONE PER CUSTOMER
Nose: Ocean brine and wet Islay peat smoke with hints of honey, vanilla and charred oak lurking.
Palate: Buttery toffee with strong coffee notes. Towards the back of the palate there is chocolate fudge - showcasing the Guinness cask influence.
Finish: Short, with a surprisingly sweet, smoky final note.
