Produced using award-winning small batch distilling methods in Fargo, North Dakota, the Proof Artisan team have come up with a high-rye, eponymous bourbon that even features artwork from the record jacket on the bottle.
And the whiskey is band-approved!
Without question, this is a rock 'n roll bourbon that pays tribute to the man and the band.
Mashbill: 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% barley
Nose: Cinnamon, wet grain, a hit of peppers and mint leaves.
Palate: Oak spices, vanilla, dark fudge and tobacco.
Finish: Not super long, but cinnamon from the nose and plenty of pepper.
