This expression is a 14-year-old single malt from Dalwhinnie. The distillation took place in March 2008 and aged in a refill bourbon hogshead. in November 2022 the whisky was independently bottled by North Star Spirits after a period of finishing in an oloroso sherry hogshead. Total worldwide outturn: 252 bottles
Nose: Grilled pineapple, ripe stone fruit and fresh honeycomb.
Palate: Red fruit compote, citrus zest, freshly cut barley and roasted nuts.
Finish: Toasted nuts, biscuity malt and chocolate chip/raisin cookies.
