Each expression in the series is based on a theme that draws upon the brand’s rich heritage of production on W. Main Street, also known as Louisville’s famous “Whiskey Row. Now, just in time for Christmas (and only for a limited time) you can enjoy three Old Forester Whiskey Row expressions ( Old Forester 1897, Old Forester 1910, Old Forester 1920) side by side in a perfect 375ml size. 

Old Forester 1897: The magical “bottled in bond” level of 100 proof yields a bourbon with significantly more character and complexity.  50% ABV

Old Forester 1910: In 1910, a fire on the bottling line halted the production of Old Forester. Mature whisky that was ready to be bottled, was instead transferred and stored in a secondary barrel. What emerged from that second barrel was a delightful whisky, remarkable enough to become an entirely new expression.  46.5% ABV

Old Forester 1920: Brown-Forman was one of the six distilleries able to continue distilling whiskey for “medicinal purposes” during Prohibition. The sturdy 115 proof represents what apparently would have been the barrel proof in 1920.  57.5% ABV
