Old Malt Cask is unashamedly for connoisseurs of the finest expressions of Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This sherried single malt from Craigellachie was distilled in 2006 and left to age in a single sherry butt. After 12 years of rest, the whisky was bottled by Hunter Laing for the Old Malt Cask range.
Nose: Strawberry marshmallow, cinnamon and a touch of salinity.
Palate: Malt predominant at first transitioning into chocolate, nuts and dried fruits.
Finish: Christmas spices and warming on the lingering finish.
