Peerless Straight Rye Single Barrel

The original Worsham Distilling Company (which became the Kentucky Peerless Distilling Company) began in Henderson, Kentucky in the early 1880s. In 1889, Peerless Whiskey production began to flourish under the leadership of the entrepreneur and Bourbon Hall of Fame originator Henry Kraver. Today the Peerless Distillery is a state-of-the-art facility with cutting edge technology, making it one of the most automated distilleries. All under one roof, select Kentucky Peerless grains are milled, cooked, fermented, double-distilled, barreled, and bottled as bourbon and rye whiskey. 

Single barrel straight rye whiskey from Kentucky's Peerless Distilling Co. are specially selected by head distiller Caleb Kilburn and chosen for their unique character. 

Nose: Fragrant orchard fruits and crushed hazelnuts welcome the way for an array of rich baking spices, vanilla and toffee.

Palate: Orchard fruits give way to baked apples and brown sugar. Toasted oak and peppery rye bring notes of ginger and cardamon.

Finish: Heather honey and caramel popcorn are followed by Terry's chocolate orange and bold oak spice.
