No more than 60 casks make up each batch of Port Askaig's limited edition cask strength release.
Each cask is selected for the notes it brings to the whisky, and each batch has a unique code to show the cask breakdown. This enables the recipient to compare, contrast, and explore the different notes the wood and blending bring to this Islay Scotch Whisky each year.
The Port Askaig Cask Strength #02-2024 uses specially selected casks to create layers of sweetness & zest intertwined with the classic smoke of Islay.

Producer's Tasting Notes:
Bursts of zesty citrus and black pepper, evolving to toasted bread, marmalade, and smoke. On the palate, it’s fresh with salt, lime, and spices, while the finish lingers with spice, smoke, and toffee-like richness.
