RyeLaw Vintage 2017 is a single distillery Fife Rye Scotch Whisky made from malted rye and barley. It is hammer milled, mashed, outdoor fermented, precision distilled and matured in new charred oak casks at InchDairnie Distillery in Fife. RyeLaw is the world’s only precision distilled malted rye Scotch whisky.
Mash Bill: 53% malted rye and 47% malted barley, a high rye content for Scotch.
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Distinguished rye spiciness, mingling with mellow oak, above a soft layer of vanilla.
Palate: Cascading pepper from the rye caressingly wrapped in mouth coating oily viscosity and sweet biscuity, cereal, and dried fruit notes.
Finish: Lingering spice, sweet toffee, roasted almonds, and dried fruits, with a tingling, peppery sensation.
