Inspired by a long line of Douglas Laing family Fox Terriers, Scallywag Malt Scotch Whisky is a marriage of aged Speyside Single Malts matured predominantly in Spanish Sherry casks. Total outturn: 4200 bottles worldwide.
Nose: Chocolate truffle with added cocoa powder. Sea salt, stone fruits and some burnt toffee.
Palate: Dark chocolate carries through from the nose as does the rich fruits. Buttery mouthfeel with vanilla caramel sweetness.
Finish: Medium length with the salty, chocolate flavours going the distance.
