Signatory Vintage was established in 1988 by Andrew Symington. Signatory may be the most discerning independent bottler of Scotch in the world. Signatory sources malts from the best distilleries in Scotland, selecting the best single batches and bottling only the finest casks within those batches. This expression was distilled in April 2012 and rested for 11 years in two, first-fill Oloroso Sherry Butts (casks 204 and 206) before being bottled, without chill filtration or additional colour in Feb 2024.
Nose: Dark fruits: dates, figs in honey, and quince. Distinctive malted barley.
Palate: Creamy nuttiness, sticky toffee pudding, whole vanilla bean and a bit of Christmas spice.
Finish: Medium length with warming spices lingering.
