In 2017, J&J Spirits launched a retail line of Single Cask Nation products specifically for liquor stores and finer whisk(e)y bars. These new products, only available in the United States until now, are now being made available to Single Cask Nation aficionados here in Canada.
This expression is a splendid example of a Paul John Indian single malt. Aged in a single cask for four years this whisky was bottled up at a bold, non-chill filtered, cask strength ABV and without added colour.
Nose: Barley, honey and crisp green apples. Hint of oak in the background.
Palate: Creamy mouthfeel with warm oatcakes with marmalade. Notes of anise and nutmeg.
Finish: Mocha coffee with dark chocolate and salty caramel. Delicious.
