A classic revelation from the Speyside Valley, this expression is a remarkably well-sherried single malt from the Tamnavulin Distillery. Initially, the spirit is aged in American oak barrels and enhanced by a finesse in three different Sherry casks ... three of 'em! If you are a fan of all those Christmas-cakey, chocolatey, red berry-y notes, you'll love this one from the Speyside-based distillery.
Nose: A bouquet marked by freshly baked tarte tatin and vanilla pod, soon giving way to another level of charm as nuances of banana, caramelized orange and fresh ginger completes this tapestry of temptation.
Palate: Warm and inviting. The palate detects an avalanche of exotic flavours, glazed nectarines and frangipane, shortly enlightened by hints of sticky toffee pudding, Demerara sugar and Seville oranges.
Finish: Complex and rich. Fruit cake, over ripe apricots.
