A limited annual release, The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old has been matured for a minimum of 18 years on The Macallan Estate in predominantly sherry seasoned European oak casks from Jerez, Spain.
Nose: Dried fruit: raisins and dates, vanilla, ginger chocolate and wet oak.
Palate: Creamy mouthfeel. Chocolate from the nose, espresso, Christmas spices and fig jam.
Finish: Long and lingering with spices, chocolate and dried fruits carrying through to the end.
