Tomintoul Distillery was built in 1964. The distillery uses traditional techniques that stretch back hundreds of years, to make award-winning single malt. The natural environment, fresh air and pure water all add to the uniquely smooth and mellow spirit. Because of this, Tomintoul is known the world over as, “the gentle dram”.
Tomintoul Speyside Glenlivet Oloroso Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been carefully aged in the finest Oloroso sherry casks for at least 12 years.
Nose: Rich and inviting with aromas of treacle toffees, toasted pecans, sweet raisins and a hint of soft smoke.
Palate: Creamy and luxurious with layers of mocha, Brazil nut toffee, fruitcake, candied peels and Brandy butter.
Finish: Long and silky with notes of chocolate eclair, creme caramel and hints of clove.
