The frighteningly named whisky is actually a delicious, lightly peated, single malt whisky brought to you by the good folks at Brave New Spirits. Starting out with spirit from the Tormore distillery in heart of the Spey region, this whisky was matured for 11 years in a combination of first and second-fill ex-bourbon barrels. it was bottled at a hearty 52.6% ABV for the Whisky of Voodoo series. It is non-chill filtered and bottled without additional colour.
Nose: Dried tropical fruits plus creamy vanilla and stone fruit.
Palate: Robust malt and soft, mineral peat smoke mingle. Honey and strawberries on the back palate.
Finish: Luscious smoke and pineapple fruit notes linger. Notes of vanilla and oak spice also make their presence felt.
