Built in 1892, it was originally called Glenisla-Glenlivet. Its original owners sold it in 1895 to W.A Gilbey (Gilbey's Gin), who were expanding their Scotch portfolio. Eventually, Strathmill became an integral part of the J&B family. Its only official release was part of Diageo's Flora & Fauna range in the 1990s.
This expression was distilled in 2014 and rested in a ex-bourbon hogshead for the full 10 years. Total worldwide outturn: 310 bottles.
