Master distillers and premier whiskey makers Jimmy and Eddie Russell have brought nearly 100 years of combined experience to artfully crafting Russell’s Reserve 10 Year Old Bourbon. Russell’s Reserve 10 Year is a small batch bourbon that’s comprised of hand-selected barrels that have been aged for at least 10 years, but possibly more. Like all of Wild Turkey’s bourbons, it’s made from their single bourbon mashbill.
Nose: Strong hints of vanilla and caramel with whiffs of graham cracker and leather.
Palate: Caramel and vanilla notes take the lead although a slight rye spice also weaves in. But the rye does not prevent the other flavours from showing more prominently.
Finish: Rye spice reaches its crescendo in the finish but quickly fades leaving hints of toasted marshmallows.
